You’ll join Marie Curie’s Talent & Development team, where you’ll help build the skills, leadership capability and talent needed to deliver our mission of closing the gap in end-of-life care. Working closely with HR, managers and leaders across the organisation, the team designs and delivers learning, leadership and talent initiatives that enable colleagues and volunteers to thrive. This is an exciting opportunity to join at a pivotal time, helping to shape a modern, organisation-wide approach to our learning, talent management and succession planning. As a Learning & Development Business Partner, you’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to create learning experiences that make a lasting difference. You’ll partner with leaders across Marie Curie to identify capability gaps, design impactful development solutions and embed a culture of continuous learning. From leadership programmes and career development initiatives to apprenticeship opportunities and talent management, your work will help equip our people with the skills and confidence they need to deliver exceptional care and support.  Your Impact: <ul><li>Partner with leaders and managers to identify capability needs and design learning and development solutions aligned to organisational priorities. </li><li>Design, deliver and evaluate inclusive learning, leadership and talent development programmes that build capability across the organisation. </li><li>Play a key role in developing and embedding Marie Curie’s talent management and performance development framework. </li><li>Lead the management and optimisation of apprenticeship programmes and levy funding, ensuring maximum organisational value and compliance. </li><li>Develop learning pathways, resources and blended learning solutions that support career development and leadership growth. </li><li>Use learning data, feedback and insights to evaluate programme effectiveness and continuously improve learning outcomes. </li><li>Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external learning providers, acting as a trusted advisor on learning and development. </li><li>Champion a culture of continuous learning, professional development and knowledge sharing across Marie Curie. </li></ul> Key Requirements: <ul><li>Experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development programmes within a complex organisation. </li><li>Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. </li><li>Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills. </li><li>Experience identifying capability needs and translating them into practical learning and development solutions. </li><li>Good understanding of learning and development methodologies, leadership development and talent management. </li><li>Experience managing apprenticeship programmes and knowledge of apprenticeship levy funding. </li><li>Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality programmes. </li><li>Ability to analyse learning data and evaluate the impact of development initiatives. </li><li>Evidence of continuing professional development in Learning & Development, HR or Organisational Development (CIPD Level 5 or above is desirable). </li></ul> Please see the full job description <a href="https://mariecurie.pagetiger.com/cxccdiy/1" rel="noopener noreferrer">HERE</a>.  Application & Interview Process <ul><li>As part of your online application, you will be asked for a CV and supplementary details. Please review both the advert and job description and outline your most relevant skills, experience and knowledge for the role. </li></ul><ul><li>Close date for applications: 5 August 2026. We encourage early applications as we may close the job advert sooner after receiving a sufficient number of applications. </li></ul><ul><li>Interview dates: 13-14 August 2026 </li></ul> Salary: Up to £51,500 per annum Contract: Permanent, full-time (35h per week) Location:  Home-based (UK) with occasional travel if required.  Benefits you’ll LOVE: <ul><li>Flexible working. We’re happy to discuss flexible working at the interview stage. </li><li>25 days annual leave (exclusive of Bank Holidays) </li><li>Marie Curie Group Personal Pension Scheme (we will match your contribution up to 7.5%) </li><li>Loan schemes for bikes; computers and season tickets </li><li>Continuous professional development opportunities. </li><li>Industry-leading training programmes </li><li>Wellbeing and Employee Assistance Programmes </li><li>Enhanced bereavement, family friendly and sickness benefits </li><li>Access to Blue Light Card membership </li><li>Subsidised Eye Care </li><li>15% discount in-store at our Marie Curie Shops (Terms & Conditions apply) </li></ul><div sr-tagline=""></div>At Marie Curie, our values are central to everything we do.
