Position Overview: The Consultant, Numbering & Porting Services (NPS) serves as a subject-matter expert and primary client contact for telephone numbering administration, local number portability (LNP), and related regulatory filings. This role manages complex, ongoing client engagements — including LERG and BIRRDS updates, CLLI code administration, NECA database maintenance, FCC filings, and NPAC data services — while representing the firm in industry forums and monitoring regulatory developments that affect client operations. The Senior Consultant is expected to work with minimal oversight, mentor junior staff, and serve as an escalation point for the most technically demanding client issues.
