SSR JAVA DEVELOPER - ON-CALL SHIFT

<p><strong>On-Call Availability (On-Call Shift System)</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Mandatory 24/7 On-Call Rotation:</strong>&#xa0;You will be required to participate in a rotating on-call shift schedule from Monday to Sunday.</li><li><strong>What this means:</strong>&#xa0;This&#xa0;<strong>does not mean you will be actively working 24/7</strong>&#xa0;or during late-night shifts. Instead, you will be&#xa0;<strong>on standby</strong>&#xa0;outside of standard working hours, meaning you must be reachable and available to log in and resolve critical system incidents only if they arise.</li><li><strong>Frequency:</strong>&#xa0;The approximate rotation frequency is&#xa0;<strong>one full week (7 consecutive days) every 3 to 4 months</strong>, depending on the team's internal calendar.</li></ul><p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.</li><li>Design and implement event-driven solutions with Apache Kafka.</li><li>Build scalable and resilient backend services.</li><li>Apply functional programming principles to improve code quality and maintainability.</li><li>Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.</li><li>Participate in software design discussions and technical decision-making.</li><li>Create and execute automated tests following TDD and/or BDD practices.</li><li>Collaborate with product, architecture, and development teams in Agile (Scrum) environments.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best development practices.</li></ul> <p>Required:</p><ul><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar software development role.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with <strong>Apache Kafka</strong> (mandatory).</li><li>Strong experience with <strong>Java 8+</strong></li><li>Experience building microservices with <strong>Spring Boot</strong>.</li><li>Knowledge of functional programming concepts.</li><li>Experience with JPA.</li><li>Experience with TDD and/or BDD testing methodologies.</li><li>Software design knowledge and application of design principles.</li><li>Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and/or MongoDB.</li><li>Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.</li><li>English level B2 or higher.</li></ul><p>Nice to Have:</p><ul><li>Basic knowledge of Reactive Programming.</li><li>Knowledge of API design/documentation and OpenAPI Specification 3 (OAS3).</li><li>Any additional technical expertise that may add value to the project.</li></ul> <p><strong>What do we offer you?</strong></p><ul><li>Full-time contract</li><li><strong>Remote within Spain Time zone.&#xa0;</strong></li><li>Smart Office Pack so that you can work comfortably from home.&#xa0;</li><li>Training and career development.</li><li>Benefits and perks such as&#xa0;<strong>private medical insurance</strong>, life insurance, Language lessons, etc</li><li>Possibility to be part of a multicultural team and work on international projects.</li></ul><p><strong>If you are passionate about data, development &amp; tech, we want to meet you !</strong></p>
