Accountabilities:
The Strategy & Operations Manager will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders by driving financial planning, operational improvements, and data-driven decision-making. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, ownership, and the ability to translate complex challenges into practical recommendations.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes across revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
• Build, maintain, and improve financial models to support business planning and strategic decisions.
• Conduct high-impact strategic analyses related to pricing, go-to-market performance, product launches, market opportunities, and business growth initiatives.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to identify opportunities, evaluate performance, and improve operational efficiency.
• Support the operational foundation of embedded finance products by analyzing business models, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
• Develop actionable recommendations by combining business insights, financial data, and market analysis.
• Create and improve reporting frameworks, dashboards, and processes to increase visibility into business performance.
• Use tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and business intelligence platforms to gather, analyze, and communicate insights.
• Drive automation and process improvements across financial planning and revenue operations.
• Support corporate development initiatives, including market research, strategic opportunities, diligence activities, and investor reporting.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and communicate recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical professional with experience in finance, business operations, and high-growth technology environments. They should be comfortable working independently, managing ambiguity, and influencing decisions across multiple teams.
• 5–7 years of professional experience, including 2–3 years within a high-growth SaaS or technology startup environment.
• Previous experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, corporate strategy, or business operations preferred.
• Strong financial modeling skills with experience building and managing revenue, expense, and cash flow forecasts.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to independently collect, manipulate, and interpret business data.
• Experience using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Looker, Salesforce, Stripe, or similar business systems.
• Ability to transform ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights, provide recommendations, and influence stakeholders.
• Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, and operational workflows.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to create processes, solve problems, and execute independently.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities.
