<p><strong>AECOM</strong> is seeking a <strong>Senior Acoustician</strong> to join our Acoustic team. This is a remote, part-time role (20 hours per week) that will be aligned with our Denver, CO office.</p><p><strong>The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Utilizes advanced scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop technical solutions to complex problems.</li><li>Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, provincial and national regulations to ensure compliance. Work is performed with minimal direction.</li><li>Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Responsible for advanced duties and activities in their specialized functional area.</li><li>Conducts research and does investigation work as required.</li><li>Plans and organizes project studies.</li><li>Assists in the resolution of conflicting technical information and unsuitability of standard procedures.</li><li> Performs complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems.</li><li>May oversee the work of junior level staff.</li></ul><p><strong>Technical responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and deliver noise analysis tasks for major transportation, construction, energy, and development projects across the U.S.</li><li>Perform and supervise predictive analyses with spreadsheet-based tools and commercially available software.</li><li>Perform and supervise acoustical measurements, noise surveys, and investigations.</li><li>Research and review regulatory criteria at the local, state, and national level.</li></ul><p><strong>About AECOM’s Environment Business Line</strong><br>

<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in acoustics, engineering, physics, mathematics, or environmental policy (or closely related fields).</li><li>6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in acoustical consulting, noise control engineering, building acoustics, and vibration.</li><li>Due to the nature of work and clientele, US Citizenship is required.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Master's degree in acoustics, engineering, physics, mathematics, or environmental policy.</li><li>Board certification by the Institute of Noise Control Engineering.</li><li>Prior business development experience is desired.</li><li>Familiarity with Datakustik CadnaA.</li></ul>
