The Account Manager does far more than manage the sales lifecycle; they<br> are a trusted technical advisor who develops a deep understanding of customer needs and<br> delivers creative solutions for improving&#xa0;energy and water sustainability while optimizing<br> customer profitability, productivity, and asset protection. A successful Account Manager<br> demonstrates excellence in technical competency, customer service, account retention,<br> commercial aptitude, business development, and leadership.<br> Key Characteristics<br> Exhibit technical curiosity, critical thinking, and superior problem-solving skills in chemical<br> treatment applications and customer process operations<br> ● Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) to develop key.<br> customer relationships that build mutual respect, as a trusted partner to our customers.<br> ● Active listener, who uncover customer needs.<br> ● Customer focused with the ability to generate and document customer value and<br> provide service excellence.<br> ● Effective time management in a fast paced, ever changing work environment.<br> ● Ability to work independently in a self-directed manner.<br> ● Inclusive and respectful team member, who contributes to the team’s success.<br> ● Comfortable in industrial environments (working at heights, and in confined spaces).<br> ● Ability to apply in-depth concepts and training to real world applications.<br> ● Willingness to expand your comfort zones.</p><p>Analyze, build and optimize chemical treatment programs for customer-specific applications.<br> ● Write and communicate Technical Service Reports that analyze customer data (KPCs /<br> KPIs), interpret results, explain deficiencies, and drive corrective actions and continuous<br> improvement.<br> ● Execute the Account Management Excellence Program i.e., Service Reports, Service<br> Plans, Value Generation Plans, Business Reviews, Proof Not Promises (PnP) / Return<br> on Environment (ROE), Special Studies, Inventory/Order Fulfillment at customer sites to<br> generate value.<br> ● Plan, execute, &amp;amp; communicate Veolia’ Value Generation Plan to the customer through<br> projects that drive water &amp;amp; energy sustainability, improve asset protection, and drive out<br> cost from our customer operations.<br> ● Ensure account retention and mitigate/minimize lost business.<br> ● Meet and exceed annual revenue targets and other key metrics around margin reviews,<br> price escalations, profitability, contract management and commercial negotiations.<br> ● Develop a regular sales rhythm that actively works the Veolia Sales Process to maintain<br> a healthy funnel of prospects.<br> ● Win (close) new, recurring, profitable competitive business to achieve consistent and<br> predictable revenue and margin growth year over year.<br> ● Work safely at all times: follow all EHS policies and procedures (Veolia &amp;amp;
