SENIOR AUTOMATION TEST ENGINEER

Your contribution will help deliver high-impact solutions in banking & security – spanning authentication, elevated access, and full identity lifecycle management at enterprise scale across Google Cloud Platform. Sounds like your kind of challenge? #LI - Remote 100% What you'll be doing • Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios aligned to technical requirements and FR/NFR traceability. • Building and maintaining backend automation using Python and Pytest , with a focus on API and integration testing. • Validating event-driven systems (Pub/Sub, queues) including replay/reprocessing scenarios and data integrity across asynchronous flows. • Contributing to CI/CD pipeline integration – running automated tests, generating reports, and notifying teams of results. • Testing and validating functions and decision logic defined as code, including policy-as-code. • Reporting, tracking, and managing defects; attending triage meetings and verifying fixes. • Creating and managing synthetic and anonymised test data sets to support repeatable automated testing. • Collaborating in an Agile delivery model and contributing to continuous quality engineering improvement. What you get in return • Flexible cooperation model – choose the form that suits you best (B2B, employment contract, etc.) • Remote w ork setup • Collaborative team culture – work alongside experienced professionals eager to share knowledge • Continuous development – access to training platforms and growth opportunities • Comprehensive benefits – including Interpolska Health Care, Multisport card, Warta Insurance, and more • High quality equipment – laptop and essential software provided Who we're looking for • Hands-on experience in backend automation testing using Python & Pytest. • Working knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts. • Experience testing REST API-driven services (Postman / Insomnia / Apidog). • Experience validating event-driven systems (Pub/Sub, Kafka, queues) and/or batch processing flows. • Awareness of identity protocols and formats: SCIM, LDAP, OIDC, REST API, CSV. • Understanding of policy-based access models: RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, PBAC. • Practical experience with JIRA & Zephyr for test management and defect lifecycle (mandatory). • Exposure to CI/CD practices and shift-left testing mindset. • Cloud testing experience, ideally GCP (AWS / Azure / Entra is a plus). • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Nice to have: • Experience in consumer-driven contract testing. • Testing policy-as-code (OPA / Rego) – policy evaluation and explainability. • Exposure to GraphDB (Neo4j) and graph-based relationship validation. • Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., n8n ) or GenAI tooling supporting quality engineering. • Containerised test execution patterns. • Performance testing tools: JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, NeoLoad. • Exposure to GitOps repositories and modern DevOps delivery patterns. • Familiarity with Vault (HashiCorp), SPIFFE/SPIRE , session management, or governance/auditing controls testing.
