SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST

Accountabilities: • Develop, deploy, and maintain advanced machine learning, deep learning, and AI models that support business growth, enhance products, and improve customer outcomes. • Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets to perform exploratory analysis, feature engineering, model development, and data visualization. • Design, build, optimize, and monitor recommendation systems and other predictive models while ensuring ongoing model performance through drift detection and continuous evaluation. • Write efficient, production-ready code, deploy models in cloud environments, conduct A/B testing, and implement data quality validation throughout the machine learning lifecycle. • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data science can create value, communicate technical findings, and present prototypes or proof-of-concepts to leadership and clients. • Stay current with emerging AI and machine learning technologies, rapidly prototype solutions using frontier large language models, and evaluate scalable deployment approaches based on performance, cost, and security considerations. • Partner with global teams, including colleagues in North America, to deliver high-impact initiatives and continuously improve data science practices across the organization. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models in production environments. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related technical discipline. • Strong programming expertise in Python and hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. • Solid experience with SQL, ETL processes, cloud-based development environments, and open-source data science technologies. • Proven ability to rapidly prototype AI solutions, particularly using modern large language model APIs, while evaluating scalable deployment strategies using platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, Ollama, LangChain, or fine-tuned open-source models. • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value. • Experience working in fast-paced, agile, or startup environments is highly desirable, along with the flexibility to collaborate across multiple time zones.
