Job description

<p>Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.</p><p>Monitor database performance and troubleshoot performance issues.</p><p>Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.</p><p>Create and manage database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.</p><p>Monitor database health, storage utilization, and system availability.</p><p>Implement and maintain database security, user roles, and permissions.</p><p>Execute database patching, upgrades, and migration activities.</p><p>Troubleshoot database-related incidents and provide root cause analysis.</p><p>Work with developers to optimize SQL queries and improve database performance.</p><p>Support high availability solutions such as SQL Server Always On, Log Shipping, and Replication.</p><p>Ensure compliance with organizational security and data governance standards.</p><p>Maintain database documentation and operational procedures.</p><p>Required Skills</p><p>2.5&#43; years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.</p><p>Strong knowledge of SQL queries, T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.</p><p>Experience with database backup and recovery processes.</p><p>Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.</p><p>Knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).</p><p>Familiarity with indexing, query execution plans, and database monitoring tools.</p><p>Basic understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) concepts.</p><p>Experience with Windows Server environments.</p><p>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.</p>
