ASSOCIATE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

<p>1-3 Years of Working Experience</p><br /><p>Minimum Experience: 1&#43; years of work experience.</p><br /><p>Mandatory Skills : SQL installation, patching, support, maintenance, High availability etc</p><p>Shift : 24*7 (weekend working too)</p><p>Remote working: Hybrid</p><br /><p><b>Job Responsibilities</b></p><p>• Should be able to work 24X7 shifts and adjust schedule to fit operation support.</p><p>• Communicate progress and resolution to the client and documents all work in a case record.</p><p>• Conduct performance monitoring, utilizing database management tools to evaluate and resolve performance problems.</p><p>• Document problems and solutions as articles for our Knowledge Base and reviews and approves knowledge articles written by others&#39;</p><p>• Prepare necessary documentation around technical procedures as well as operational procedures.</p><p>• Report defects and design issues to our development teams.</p><p>• Work on most complex database-related issues directly with Team/DBAs/Development</p><p>• Mentor and coaches team members.</p><p>• Perform root cause analysis of recurring issues.</p><p>• Act as a single point of contact for escalations.</p><p>• Perform proactive reviews of hosting environments to improve system reliability and prevent future support engagements.</p><p>• Support highly-available cross enterprise common/middleware applications on a large, global network.</p><p>• Microsoft technologies as well as other 3rd party technical solutions, OS/DB/SQL</p><br /><p><b>Preffered Skillsets  Experience</b></p><p>• Microsoft SQL Server Certified</p><p>• Advanced SQL Server knowledge working in a mid to large-size organization. SQL DB backup/restore, install/configure Database, Maintain Database Security, Diagnose and troubleshoot Database errors.</p><p>• T-SQL, PowerShell, or equivalent scripting knowledge, preferred</p><p>• Working knowledge of technologies including Windows Operating System, Windows Clustering, AlwaysOn, and Active Directory</p><p>• Proficient in the following areas : host and deploy enterprise software, Azure, virtualization, cloud</p><p>• troubleshooting tools like BlackBox, Fiddler, WireShark, or equivalent system/application/performance monitoring tools.</p><p>• Able to stay organized, manage and prioritize over 5 simultaneous ongoing support investigations</p><p>• Ability to train on working with Development Teams to provide support and feedback for troubleshooting application/deployment issues.</p><p>• Good problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a cross-functional team.</p><p>• Knowledge of writing advanced SQL/DB scripts to perform troubleshooting</p><p>• Software support experience demonstrating troubleshooting / analytical skills</p><p>• Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop internal education programs</p><p>• Verbal and written command of the English language.</p><p> </p>
