ADJUNCT LECTURER

Overview SCCD Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and charismatic lecturer to deliver Level 5 Diploma in Teaching accredited by NCFE. You must hold a full UK teaching licenses which is either QTS or QTLS and have taught post-16. If you hold an Assessor or IQA qualification this will be a great asset. We are looking for a professional who doesn't just "teach" but mentors and inspires the next generation of educators. Key Responsibilities • Delivery: Facilitate 3-hour learning slots via Zoom, ensuring high levels of student engagement and participation. • Planning: Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and resources aligned with Pearson/NCFE standards. • Assessment: Grade assignments and provide constructive, detailed feedback to ensure learners meet the criteria for QTLS eligibility. • Retention: Foster excellent student relations to maintain our high standards of learner retention and satisfaction. • Administration: Use our CRM system to upload learner data, track progress, and maintain accurate attendance records. • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience delivering the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET). • Professional Status: Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills) . • Flexibility: Ability to deliver across a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and Saturday sessions (3-hour blocks). • Technical Proficiency: Strong ICT skills with the ability to manage virtual classrooms on Zoom and navigate CRM platforms. • Track Record: Evidence of maintaining high student retention rates and positive learner outcomes. • Availability: Must be available to deliver 3 hr sessions on Saturday Preferrerences • Recognised Assessor (CAVA/A1) and Verifier (IQA/V1) qualifications. • Experience working with international students or professionals seeking the sponsorship route. • A competitive rate of £35.00 per hour . • The opportunity to work with a mission-driven provider focused on social mobility. • A flexible, remote working environment.
