Essential functions would include: </p><ul><li><p>Coordinating and managing the final quality of assigned translations to ensure a high quality standard. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Running language assets, e.g. translation memories, terminology and style guides: </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Performing occasional linguistic tasks including initial translation, revision, client feedback implementation </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Performing quality checks on clinical translations (ICFs, protocols, IBs, patient diaries, etc.). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Developing and maintaining terminology and style guides for the language </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensuring Spanish Latam translation memories are updated. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Setting and executing linguistic quality assurance process for the assigned language globally as required. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Using CAT technology to monitor quality of outsourced language translations and external suppliers. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Analyzing language quality issues and working on any quality improvement plans with project management team. </p></li></ul><p><b>Applicants should meet one of the below educational/professional requirements:</b>  </p><p>Bachelor&#39;s degree in translation, linguistics or language studies with significant translation studies from a recognized higher education institution. </p><p>Bachelor&#39;s degree in another field and 2 years of translation experience (preferred in medical translation)   </p><b>Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</b><span> </span><p>Native Language: Spanish – Argentinian variant preferred.</p><p><b>CAT/TMS Tool Experience Required</b> </p><p>Proven Terminology and TM experience required </p><p>Proven skills of multi-tasking, time management, organization, and attention to detail </p><p>Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills </p><p>Proficiency in MS Office suite</p></div><p></p></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
