As a Contract Specialist II, you will independently manage a broad range of commercial contracting activities, support contract negotiations, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to facilitate timely contract execution. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing legal, operational, and business priorities while supporting global clinical trial initiatives.</p><p></p><p><b>What We Offer</b></p><ul><li><p>Competitive pay and incentives</p></li><li><p>Provident fund and medical insurance</p></li><li><p>Engaging employee programs and local events</p></li><li><p>Modern office spaces and remote work flexibility</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What You&#39;ll Be Doing</b></p><ul><li><p>Independently create, review, negotiate, and manage Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), Work Orders (WOs), Start-Up Agreements (SUAs), and Letters of Intent (LOIs) in accordance with Clario contracting standards.</p></li><li><p>Conduct independent legal review of Change Orders (COs) as required.</p></li><li><p>Independently create, review, and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Quality Agreements (QAs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Stand-Alone Agreements (SAAs), and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).</p></li><li><p>Manage and track contract escalations to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for terms outside approved standards or playbooks.</p></li><li><p>Review legal language and provide contract interpretation and guidance with appropriate senior oversight.</p></li><li><p>Update, manage, prioritize, and maintain assigned contract cases within Salesforce.</p></li><li><p>Accurately enter and maintain contractual data, legal terms, and supporting documents in Salesforce.</p></li><li><p>Support the monitoring and management of centralized team mailboxes and action requests.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to updates of Commercial Contracting Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) and process documentation.</p></li><li><p>Conduct peer reviews and provide support to more junior team members.</p></li><li><p>Maintain organized electronic document repositories for approvals, contract versions, and executed agreements.</p></li><li><p>Review, track, process, store, and communicate electronic signature activity in accordance with company standards.</p></li><li><p>Participate in departmental and cross-functional projects to support continuous improvement initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Support client, internal, and regulatory audits as assigned.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with company SOPs, training requirements, and quality standards.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What We Look For</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor&#39;s Degree in Business, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 3 years of commercial contracting, legal operations, contract administration, or related experience.</p></li><li><p>Experience reviewing and negotiating complex and non-standard commercial agreements.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of contract lifecycle management processes and contract best practices.</p></li><li><p>Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, clinical research, Contract Research Organization (CRO), or life sciences environments preferred.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with Salesforce or similar contract management systems preferred.</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong client-facing abilities.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional attention to detail, judgment, and problem-solving capabilities.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.</p></li><li><p>Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment requiring sound decision-making and adaptability.</p></li></ul><p><br />At Clario, a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, our purpose is to transform lives by unlocking better evidence.
