ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Python Developer in Ukraine.   ABOUT PROJECT Our client is one of the leading U.S. investment banks. The project focuses on building a platform that automates data transformations using DBT, generating tables, views, and data pipelines. The solution processes queued requests and executes DBT workflows in isolated and production environments. REQUIREMENTS • 4-5 years of commercial experience with Python • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency (async/await) • Experience with Snowflake and PostgreSQL • Experience with Camunda or other BPMN/workflow orchestration tools • Understanding of cloud environments and modern infrastructure concepts (Azure, HashiCorp stack) • Experience with multi-tenant applications and tenant isolation concepts • Good understanding of Kubernetes (pods, autoscaling, resource management) • Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests • Willingness to learn and work with Java; previous Java experience will be a strong advantage • Experience with DBT will be a plus • Upper-Intermediate English or higher RESPONSIBILITIES • Design , develop , and maintain reliable software in line with technical requirements • Analy z e requirements , and independently e stimate and set up tasks’ acceptance criteria • Evaluate and coordinate task s’ deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project Manager • Apply the best software development practices and coding standards to produce high-quality and performant solutions • Stay up-to-date with modern technology and optionally obtain professional certifications • Participate as a trainer or a trainee in various learning programs outside the main project WHAT YOU WILL GET WITH ELEKS • Close cooperation with a customer • Challenging tasks • Competence development • Team of professionals • Dynamic environment with low level of bureaucracy ABOUT ELEKS ELEKS is a custom software development company.
