Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting, focused on expanding Medicaid-covered behavioral healthcare. We're looking for passionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care to the Medicaid population. We handle the administrative side — scheduling, billing, insurance — so you can focus on care. What you'll bring - An active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in the state of Virginia - National board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) - Prescriptive authority and an active DEA registration - Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications (under supervision or independently) - Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other digital tools - A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office setup for confidential virtual sessions - Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus We’re looking for providers who bring - Strong clinical judgment in managing psychiatric conditions across diverse populations - A patient-centered approach to medication management and treatment planning - Experience collaborating with therapists and other providers as part of a multidisciplinary care team - Commitment to equity in mental health access for Medicaid populations
