Job description

Accountabilities: • Lead the performance and overall management of assigned chemical supply chains, serving as the primary supply chain partner for business leadership teams. • Oversee Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes to ensure alignment between customer demand, production capacity, and inventory strategies. • Develop and execute supply plans covering short- and long-term planning horizons while ensuring customer orders are fulfilled according to established service level objectives. • Manage inventory performance, optimize inventory health, reduce slow-moving stock, and implement corrective action plans to improve working capital. • Monitor customer service performance, including On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery metrics, investigate root causes of service issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Collaborate with transportation, warehousing, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to improve supply chain performance and optimize logistics costs. • Define stocking strategies, manage MRP policies, support product lifecycle planning, and maintain accurate planning data and ERP system integrity. • Lead, mentor, and develop Supply Chain professionals while fostering collaboration, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement. • Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify operational improvement opportunities, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance service, efficiency, and profitability. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, materials planning, purchasing, sourcing, operations, or production planning within manufacturing or chemical industries. • Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP/SIOP), MRP, and demand fulfillment processes. • Experience using SAP or comparable ERP systems, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and business reporting tools. • Solid business and financial acumen with the ability to balance customer service, inventory, operational efficiency, and cost objectives. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with experience using data to drive continuous improvement. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions and leadership levels. • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams, developing talent, and driving organizational performance. • ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain certification while in the role.
