QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) LEAD

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced, hands-on QA Lead to lead our QA function and manage a team of up to 5 QA professionals supporting our AI-powered fintech applications. You will combine people leadership, QA strategy, and hands-on testing, ensuring quality across our Web, Mobile, AI, and UI/UX products. You will work with fully distributed Technology and Product teams across the US, LATAM, India, and other global locations. What You'll Do: • Lead, mentor, and manage a QA team of up to 5 people. • Own and improve the QA strategy, processes, standards, and testing framework. • Plan and coordinate testing across Web, Mobile, AI, and UI/UX products. • Lead UI/UX, functional, regression, exploratory, and accessibility testing. • Ensure testing aligns with WCAG accessibility guidelines. • Drive test automation and remain hands-on with automated testing. • Use AI tools and prompt engineering to improve test creation, coverage, analysis, and QA efficiency. • Lead defect management, root-cause analysis, and release readiness. • Track key QA metrics and communicate quality risks to Engineering and Product. • Collaborate effectively across US, LATAM, India, and multiple time zones. • Apply OWASP standards/security testing principles where relevant. • Act as the main QA point of contact for Engineering and Product. What You'll Bring: • Min 3+ years of hands on QA experience with team leadership/people management. • Experience managing and developing QA professionals. • Strong experience in Web, Mobile, AI, UI/UX, usability, and accessibility testing. • Good knowledge of WCAG guidelines. • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and test automation. • Hands-on automation experience with Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar. • Experience with JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent tools. • Ability to use AI tools and prompt engineering in QA activities. • Knowledge of OWASP/security testing is an advantage. • API testing knowledge is a plus, but UI/UX testing is the primary focus. • Comfortable balancing people management with hands-on technical QA work. • Experience working with fully distributed international teams across multiple time zones. • Excellent English communication skills. • Fintech, AI, SaaS, or startup experience is a plus.
