Position: Mechanical Engineering Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $65–$90/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10 hours/week Role Responsibilities • Review and evaluate written content and AI-generated responses in mechanical engineering for accuracy and quality. • Answer questions and provide clear, well-reasoned feedback based on professional experience. • Identify useful reference material relevant to mechanical engineering. • Share insights into mechanical engineering tools, workflows, and standards. • Collaborate with other subject-matter experts across different fields. Qualifications Must-Have • Degree-qualified mechanical engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the US. • 2+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience. • Familiarity with codes and standards (e.g., ASME ) and tools ( SolidWorks , ANSYS , AutoCAD ). • Professional working English . • Based in the United States . • Commitment to about 10 hours per week . Preferred • Experience writing technical documentation, specs, or training material. • Comfortable using everyday AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT ).
