Job description

Accountabilities: • Own customer interactions from the initial greeting through problem resolution, providing a complete and personalized service experience. • Build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds while gathering accurate information and understanding their individual needs and circumstances. • Navigate multiple systems simultaneously to research information, identify appropriate solutions, and resolve customer questions efficiently. • Explain insurance products, programs, processes, and potentially complex information in clear, concise, and positive language. • Prioritize quality and first-call resolution while managing processing time and after-call work effectively. • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation following each customer interaction. • Apply established guidelines, resources, internal documentation, and support channels while exercising sound judgment rather than relying on scripted conversations. • Participate in structured onboarding, ongoing training, coaching sessions, mentoring, and career development programs. • Develop expertise in financial-services products and programs, potentially including life insurance, annuities, health insurance, mutual funds, and beneficiary claims. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, quality programs, focus groups, roundtables, recruiting activities, and new-service launches as opportunities arise. • Work collaboratively with experienced teammates and managers to strengthen customer outcomes and contribute to a positive team environment. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent experience required; post-secondary education is preferred. • Previous financial-services or insurance experience is preferred. • Experience managing complex customer interactions from initial support through successful resolution. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and explain complex information clearly. • Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment when assessing customer situations and identifying appropriate solutions. • Ability to navigate multiple technology systems while maintaining an engaging, accurate, and professional customer conversation. • Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to quality and first-call resolution. • Ability to adapt to change and contribute positively to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling customer information and completing follow-up activities. • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus. • Candidates residing in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones are preferred. • Must be able to work full-time Monday through Friday, with training scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST and the post-training schedule falling between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. CST. • Must maintain a private, secure, distraction-free home workspace with reliable power and a hard-wired Ethernet connection to the router or modem. • Minimum internet requirements are 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. • Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check.
