• Lead the full policy and SOP lifecycle, including development, review, version control, employee attestation, retirement, and mapping to applicable OIG and CMS requirements.
• Own the HIPAA Privacy and Security compliance programs, including breach response from initial detection through notification, remediation, and documentation.
• Support or lead the GDPR Data Protection Officer function, ensuring appropriate privacy governance and data-protection practices where applicable.
• Oversee the compliance hotline and investigations program, including intake, triage, investigation, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and self-disclosure processes.
• Manage exclusion and sanction screening programs and oversee conflict-of-interest processes, Stark Law requirements, and non-monetary compensation tracking.
• Personally own OIG Element 3 by developing and maintaining compliance education and training programs for employees, clinicians, and relevant members of the broader workforce.
• Foster a strong culture of compliance by positioning regulatory and ethical standards as essential infrastructure that enables responsible growth.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary compliance organization, including managers and specialists responsible for investigations, policy governance, exclusion and sanction screening, HIPAA and privacy, conflicts of interest, and Stark Law compliance.

• Continuously assess the regulatory landscape and evolve the compliance program to address emerging risks affecting multi-state telehealth and technology-enabled healthcare delivery.
Requirements
• 12+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, health law, or a closely related field, with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a healthcare compliance program.
• Deep working knowledge of the OIG Seven Elements framework and experience translating regulatory requirements into effective operational controls.
• Proven ownership of HIPAA Privacy and Security programs, including privacy governance, incident and breach response, and regulatory documentation.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements, including CMS standards, Stark Law, exclusion and sanction screening, conflicts of interest, and related compliance obligations.
• Experience with GDPR and data-protection requirements is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and scaling a compliance team within a multi-state, technology-enabled healthcare, telehealth, pharmacy-adjacent, or similarly regulated environment.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise compliance training and education programs, including programs supporting clinician networks and distributed workforces.
• Strong investigative and risk-management capabilities, including experience overseeing hotline operations, investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and self-disclosures.
• Executive presence and sound judgment, with the ability to serve as a credible and accountable representative in regulator, auditor, and payor interactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear policies, processes, and executive-level recommendations.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across Legal, Product, Security, Clinical, and executive functions without relying solely on formal authority.
• High integrity, strong ethical judgment, and a collaborative, low-ego leadership style.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment where regulatory requirements, business priorities, and technology continue to evolve.
• A compliance credential such as CHC, CHPC, CCEP, or an equivalent professional certification is preferred.
