<h1>🧠 Lead Clinical Psychologist</h1> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Build &amp; Lead Backpack Healthcare's Clinical Psychology Program</strong><br>📍 Multi-State | Telehealth | Maryland, Georgia, Michigan, Virginia &amp; Illinois</p> <h3>Help Us Build Something Meaningful 💜🎒</h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Backpack Health is expanding its clinical services and is seeking an experienced <strong>Lead Clinical Psychologist</strong> to launch and lead our clinical psychology program.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">This is a unique opportunity for a psychologist who wants to do more than provide clinical care—you’ll have the opportunity to <strong>build a program from the ground up</strong>, beginning with comprehensive psychological evaluations and growing into a broader leadership and supervision role.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">You’ll provide high-quality assessments for children, adolescents, and families, including evaluations for <strong>ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other developmental, behavioral, emotional, and cognitive concerns</strong>. As the program grows, you’ll help establish clinical standards, supervise psychology staff, and shape a sustainable and scalable psychology service line.</p> <h3>🌟 What You’ll Do</h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Psychological Assessment &amp; Clinical Care</strong></p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and other populations served by Backpack Health.</li> <li>Evaluate ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other clinically appropriate referral questions.</li> <li>Select, administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological and diagnostic assessments.</li> <li>Conduct clinical interviews and review records and collateral information from caregivers, schools, providers, and other authorized parties.</li> <li>Prepare clear, timely, and clinically sound reports with diagnostic impressions and individualized recommendations.</li> <li>Provide thoughtful feedback to clients and caregivers and support understanding of evaluation results.</li> </ul> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>🚀 Build &amp; Lead the Psychology Program</strong></p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Partner with Clinical, Operations, Billing, Credentialing, and executive leadership to launch and develop the clinical psychology service line.</li> <li>Establish referral criteria, assessment workflows, documentation standards, scheduling processes, and quality expectations.</li> <li>Develop processes that support efficient, high-quality, and accessible psychological assessment services.</li> <li>Monitor assessment volume, reimbursement, staffing needs, expenses, and workflow performance.</li> <li>Serve as Backpack Health’s subject matter expert in psychological assessment.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve quality, access, efficiency, and financial sustainability.</li> </ul> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>👥 Supervision &amp; Team Development</strong></p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Help identify, recruit, onboard, and develop a qualified Psychological Associate.</li> <li>Provide clinical supervision consistent with applicable state laws, licensing requirements, ethical standards, and Backpack Health policies.</li> <li>Review delegated assessment activities, scoring, interpretation, documentation, and recommendations.</li> <li>Ensure services remain within each clinician’s training, competence, and permitted scope of practice.</li> <li>As the program expands, transition into broader supervision and leadership responsibilities.</li> </ul> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>✅ Quality, Compliance &amp; Collaboration</strong></p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Maintain compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, state regulations, professional ethics, documentation requirements, and test-security standards.</li> <li>Collaborate with therapists, psychiatric providers, care coordinators, schools, and other members of the care team.</li> <li>Participate in quality assurance, clinical audits, utilization review, and corrective-action activities.</li> <li>Identify and escalate clinical, operational, regulatory, reimbursement, or staffing risks.</li> </ul> <h3>💰 Compensation &amp; Support</h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Launch Period</strong></p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Compensation will be structured as a <strong>60/40 revenue split based on reimbursed claims</strong> for eligible psychological evaluations.</li> <li><strong>Lead Clinical Psychologist:</strong> 60% of revenue actually reimbursed for eligible evaluations.</li> <li><strong>Backpack Health:</strong> 40% retained to support billing, scheduling, credentialing, administrative, and operational expenses.</li> </ul> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Growth &amp;
