Job description
<p>The Ecommerce Assistant/Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the client by maintaining accurate product content, executing site merchandising updates, ensuring website accuracy, and assisting with promotional activities and product launches. The role works closely with internal teams to maintain a seamless customer experience and ensure ecommerce content and merchandising activities are executed accurately and on time. </p><p>Responsibilities: </p><ul><li>Create and maintain accurate product listings, including product information, pricing, images, and other catalog content </li><li>Execute website updates and maintain product collections, categories, and site merchandising </li><li>Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, sales, and promotional activities </li><li>Moderate and approve customer product reviews, and escalate concerns when necessary </li><li>Conduct quality checks of website content and product pages to ensure accuracy, consistency, and a seamless customer experience </li><li>Assist in setting up and maintaining promotional campaigns and ecommerce merchandising activities </li><li>Monitor basic site and product performance and help identify opportunities to improve product visibility and merchandising </li><li>Build, publish, and maintain blog content to support marketing initiatives, SEO, and customer engagement </li><li>Coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure product and website updates are completed accurately and within timelines </li></ul>
<ul><li>3-5 years experience in ecommerce, ecommerce merchandising, website content management, or a related role </li><li>Experience working with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, or similar platforms </li><li>Basic understanding of ecommerce merchandising principles and best practices </li><li>Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills </li><li>Excellent written communication, editing, and proofreading skills </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel</li><li>Amenable to work 5am-2pm, Tuesday to Saturday </li></ul>
