PROCESS LEAD - CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANT FOR TURKEY LEGISLATION - FINANCIAL REPORTING AND AUDITS - GLOBAL CLIENT

<p>To manage closing, controllership, audits, accounting and financial reporting for the Turkey Market. The candidate should have experience in financial reporting, strong knowledge of IFRS / Local GAAP, proficiency in SAP and excellent communication skills.</p><p>Role requires a strong candidate having experience in financial reporting, accounting, managing audits, books closing, controllership reporting.</p> <ul><li>Preparation of standalone and consolidated year-end financial statements as per IFRS / Local GAAP and collaborate with various stakeholders, Local Finance team and liaising with auditors to get the FS audited.</li><li>Strong knowledge on Turkish GAAP &amp; Tax regulations</li><li>Co-ordination with Auditors, finance team and business team for resolving audit queries</li><li>Ensuring timely completion of Statutory and Tax Audits</li><li>Accounting and reporting relating to various entities</li><li>Responsible for review of monthly &amp; quarterly accounting and reporting of the P&amp;L and Balance sheets</li><li>Preparation and submission of Balance sheet schedules.</li><li>Preparation of business reports on a timely basis providing accurate reasoning for variances.</li><li>Provide support for timely filing of tax returns, indirect tax filings, transfer pricing report, segment P&amp;L, etc</li><li>Working on liquidation of legal entities</li><li>Participate in new initiatives and projects and focus on Process improvements &amp; automation.</li><li>Monitoring various hygiene areas like open payables, open item management etc.</li><li>Stakeholder management - Communicating and developing good working relations with business teams will be key aspect for success.</li><li>Working knowledge of SAP, proficient in MS Excel</li></ul><p><strong>Personal Attributes:</strong></p><p>Thinks strategically, communicates effectively, inspires creativity and innovation, exhibits professional excellence, attention to detail and problem-solving skills</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>Chartered accountant (min 5 years of experience in a multinational company with global reporting responsibility)</p><p><strong>Preferred qualifications:</strong></p><p>Experience in a Big4 or other similar large accounting firm environment</p><p><strong>Language Skill:</strong></p><p>Turkish – English</p>
