<p>Timmons Group is seeking a <strong>Civil Project Engineer II/III</strong> to join our <strong>Structures and Bridge Design Group</strong>, based in <strong>Richmond, VA</strong>. Remote work options are available for qualified candidates. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative renewable energy and structural design projects in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong>&#xa0;of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Design steel piles and steel connections for a variety of structural applications</li><li>Develop cast-in-place concrete slab designs</li><li>Apply knowledge of renewable energy systems and terminology to structural design</li><li>Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets</li><li>Support project and task management activities</li><li>Contribute to marketing efforts and proposal development</li></ul><p><strong>Skills/Requirements</strong>&#xa0;of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>A <strong>Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering</strong> (Master’s preferred)</li><li><strong>2+ years of experience</strong> in solar structure design</li><li><strong>PE License</strong> is a plus</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in structural design software, especially <strong>LPile</strong>, <strong>Mathcad</strong>, and <strong>Excel</strong></li><li>Experience using <strong>AutoCAD</strong> for plan development</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>Excel/AutoCAD interoperability</strong> for creating pile plot plans is a plus</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation:</strong>&#xa0;Our best estimate of the salary range for this position is $82,000-$90,000.&#xa0;&#xa0;This position is eligible for straight-time overtime. There may be flexibility&#xa0;on salary&#xa0;for experienced candidates.
