Position: Corporate Development Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $2000/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities • Build valuation and merger models including three-statement , DCF , trading and transaction comps , accretion-dilution , cap table , and equity waterfall . • Draft and compare transaction terms such as IOIs , LOIs , term sheets , bid comparisons , and deal structure . • Produce process and board materials like management presentations , data packs , buyer universes , and board and committee decks . • Run screening, diligence, and integration work including inbound deal screens , diligence request lists , and synergy models . • Work independently and asynchronously to produce high-quality deliverables graded against a rubric. Qualifications Must-Have • 4+ years in an in-house corporate development or M&A role at an operating company. • Hands-on ownership of live transactions end to end. Preferred • Investment banking or private equity background before moving in-house. • Experience with Big 4 transaction advisory or financial due diligence. Assessment • A merger model from a mock target file. • A term sheet comparison. • A board-ready recommendation memo.
