Job description
<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>Total experience 6+ years in</li><li>Strong experience in Oracle EBS SCM with strong techno-functional expertise.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 / R12.2.x,</li><li>Strong functional expertise in Oracle Procurement and SCM modules including iSupplier Portal, iProcurement, Sourcing, Purchasing (PO), Inventory (INV), and Order Management (OM).</li><li>Strong understanding of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle, including requisitioning, approvals, sourcing, supplier onboarding, catalog management, purchase orders, receipts, and supplier collaboration.</li><li>Good understanding of RFX/negotiation processes, requisition-to-PO conversion, supplier management, purchasing operations, inventory processes, and supply chain workflows.</li><li>Proven experience supporting and enhancing Oracle EBS SCM applications, including day-to-day production support, incident resolution, and business process improvements.</li><li>Strong experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying RICEW components including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows.</li><li>Hands-on expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle database objects, and database performance tuning.</li><li>Strong experience with OAF (Oracle Application Framework), including personalization and extensions for iProcurement and iSupplier Portal.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Oracle Workflow Builder and AME (Approval Management Engine) for designing and maintaining approval workflows.</li><li>Strong experience with BI/XML Publisher for developing operational reports, RFQ templates, Purchase Order documents, and other procurement-related outputs.</li><li>Experience with Oracle EBS technical utilities including FNDLOAD, SQL*Loader, and Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.</li><li>Ability to work closely with procurement, sourcing, supplier management, warehouse, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.</li><li>Experience preparing functional and technical documentation using AIM/OUM methodologies, including BR100, MD050, MD070, TE040, and related project documentation.</li><li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Functional candidates may also be considered; however, they will be assessed on their competency in the technical skills mentioned above.</li><li>Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude and strong ownership of deliverables.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams, leadership, business users, and external suppliers.</li><li>Shift Timing – 5 PM to 2:00 AM (IST)</li></ul><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Act as the Oracle EBS Techno-Functional SCM Consultant and subject matter expert, supporting procurement and supply chain business processes across Oracle EBS.</li><li>Provide functional and technical support for iSupplier Portal, iProcurement, Sourcing, Purchasing, Inventory, and Order Management modules.</li><li>Partner with procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, warehouse, and business teams to understand requirements and identify opportunities for process optimization.</li><li>Analyze business requirements, conduct fit-gap assessments, and translate procurement and supply chain needs into scalable Oracle EBS solutions.</li><li>Support and optimize end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including requisitions, approvals, sourcing, supplier management, purchase orders, receiving, and related workflows.</li><li>Design, develop, test, and deploy RICEW components including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows to meet SCM business requirements.</li><li>Customize and extend iProcurement and iSupplier Portal interfaces using OAF personalization and extensions.</li><li>Design and develop complex database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL, including Packages, Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Views, and other database objects.</li><li>Build and maintain procurement approval processes using AME and Oracle Workflow Builder.</li><li>Develop and maintain operational reports, RFQ templates, Purchase Order documents, and other procurement-related reports using BI/XML Publisher.</li><li>Develop and support inbound and outbound integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party applications using APIs, interface tables, web services, and other integration mechanisms.</li><li>Perform SQL, PL/SQL, interface, and database performance tuning to improve application reliability and execution efficiency.</li><li>Troubleshoot functional and technical issues by tracing data flow, application logic, workflows, and database objects to identify root causes and implement corrective solutions.</li><li>Work closely with business users and technical teams during requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.</li><li>Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation in accordance with AIM/OUM standards, including BR100, MD050, MD070, TE040, and related deliverables.</li><li>Support system testing, Conference Room Pilots (CRP), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and post-production validation.</li><li>Manage technical activities using Oracle EBS utilities such as FNDLOAD, SQL*Loader, and Unix/Linux shell scripting.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams, project managers, business stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery of SCM solutions.</li><li>Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and system optimization across procurement and supply chain operations.</li><li>Maintain development standards, technical documentation, coding practices, and Oracle EBS best practices within the team.</li><li>Provide knowledge sharing and technical guidance to team members while contributing to a collaborative and high-performance environment.</li><li>Take ownership of technical deliverables, proactively resolve project and production issues, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction and delivery quality.</li><li>Experience with Oracle Enterprise Contracts or Procurement Contracts.</li><li>Knowledge of PunchOut catalogs and supplier network integrations.</li><li>Experience with cXML/EDI integrations and external supplier networks.</li><li>Exposure to Oracle EBS R12.2.x upgrades, patching, and online patching concepts.</li><li>Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, or version-control platforms such as Git/Bitbucket.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p>
<p>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.</p>
