<p>AECOM is recruiting talented individuals to lead our Industrial Engineering team across multiple regions and offices.</p><p>Reporting to a Market Sector Leader or Industrial Principal, you will support the delivery of high-value Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial projects, contributing to both technical excellence and commercial success while developing Client relationships and Business development</p><p>As the Senior Industrial Engineer, you will develop and deliver a high-performing Process Optimization capability that delivers complex, high-impact projects across a range of Federal and Commercial industries, while embedding Lean thinking and industrial best practice into all aspects of delivery.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>In this role, your expectations will include, but will not be limited to:</p><ul><li>Manage the development of value propositions for process optimization, manufacturing and industrial advisory services</li><li>Develop data-driven insights and translate them into practical, deliverable solutions</li><li>Manage and Deliver projects and workstreams to agreed quality, cost and schedule</li><li>Apply Lean, Six Sigma and industrial engineering techniques to analyze and improve client operations</li><li>Build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders</li><li>Contribute to business development activities, including proposals and thought leadership</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM</li><li>Contribute to the development of best practice methods and standards</li><li>Support capability development through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing</li><li><strong>This role will include travel across the United States, as well as internationally as needed</strong></li></ul> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline plus 8 years of related experience, or demonstrable equivalent experience</li><li><strong>Due to the nature of the role, United States Citizenship is required</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Master’s Degree</li><li>Professional memberships and/or certifications&#xa0;will be beneficial</li><li>15 years overall industry experience, with 3-5 years of role-specific experience</li><li>Background in manufacturing, industrial engineering, process improvement, or related operational environments</li><li>Experience working within or alongside highly regulated industries (e.g. defense, aviation, nuclear, infrastructure, manufacturing)</li><li>Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical, value-driven solutions</li><li>Experience applying Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)</li><li>Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams</li><li>Ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations</li><li>Experience applying Lean principles in non-manufacturing environments</li><li>Consulting experience in complex project environments is a plus</li></ul><p><strong>Additionally, experience in the following areas is preferable:</strong></p><ul><li>Process mapping, analysis and optimization</li><li>Production systems, facility design or industrial operations</li><li>Data analysis and performance improvement</li><li>Project delivery and workstream management</li><li>Automation, robotics or manufacturing systems integration</li><li>Digital manufacturing, simulation or data analytics tools</li><li>Experience applying Lean principles in non-manufacturing environments</li></ul> <p>Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.&#xa0;</p><p>Travel to client sites will be required across the US and, where necessary, internationally with approximately 15-20% travel.</p><div sr-tagline=""></div><p>At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously. <strong><em>To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.</em></strong></p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>About AECOM</strong>&#xa0;</p><p>AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
