About the Role
Family Office is looking for an experienced finance professional for the position of Financial Controller , who will take ownership of building and developing financial processes, ensuring accuracy of accounting operations, timely reporting, and financial controls across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage accounting operations for several companies across different jurisdictions
• Build financial controlling processes from scratch where none currently exist, and continuously refine and adapt them as the business grows and evolves
• Design, implement, and continuously improve internal financial control procedures
• Monthly financial reporting
• Manage and support external audits
• Respond promptly to finance-related questions and requests from the CEO / Head of Finance
• Effectively manage external consultants and legal advisors
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial control, or treasury, including IFRS
• BIG-4 experience is highly preferred
• Proven, hands-on experience building financial controlling processes from the ground up , and subsequently adapting/evolving them as the business develops (not just maintaining existing processes)
• Very strong understanding of accounting principles; deep technical knowledge, not just operational execution
• ACCA (ideally completed or near-completed professional level papers) is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fast learner, comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment
• Ability to effectively manage external consultants and legal advisors
• English — Upper-Intermediate or higher
• Russian — Upper-Intermediate or higher
