CONSULTANT, TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS

<p>The <strong>Technical Solutions Consultant </strong>&#xa0;is a newly created role that will be responsible for the <strong>independent technical implementation and delivery</strong> of MES/MOM, Industrial DataOps (Unified Namespace), and digital transformation solutions for Grantek clients.</p><p>This role focuses on the <strong>technical execution (“how”)</strong> of solutions , translating functional requirements into technical designs, leading hands-on configuration and development, integrating systems, and ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with Grantek standards, timelines, and budgets.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:&#xa0;</strong></p><p><strong>Technical Delivery &amp; Architecture</strong></p><ul><li><p>Design and implement technical architectures for <strong>MES/MOM solutions</strong>, Industrial DataOps platforms (UNS), and digital transformation initiatives based on functional requirements and industry best practices</p></li><li><p>Translate functional requirements into scalable, maintainable technical designs that solve defined business problems and deliver measurable value</p></li><li><p>Maintain awareness of client business drivers, operational challenges, and regulatory requirements to ensure solutions are delivered with business context in mind</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with Functional Consultants throughout the project lifecycle to validate requirements, ensure feasibility, and align on success criteria</p></li></ul><p><strong>Implementation &amp; Integration</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead hands-on implementation using <strong>Ignition</strong>, <strong>Sepasoft MES modules</strong>, MQTT brokers, and related platform technologies</p></li><li><p>Configure and develop MES modules including <strong>production tracking, OEE, quality, traceability, scheduling, inventory, and maintenance</strong></p></li><li><p>Design and implement <strong>Unified Namespace (UNS)</strong> architectures including data models (ISA-95), MQTT topic structures, and data pipelines</p></li><li><p>Integrate MES/MOM solutions with <strong>ERP, SCADA, PLCs, historians, QMS, LIMS, and analytics platforms</strong> using appropriate integration patterns and protocols</p></li><li><p>Perform scripting and development using <strong>Python and SQL</strong>, minimizing unnecessary customization</p></li></ul><p><strong>Testing, Deployment &amp; Support</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead unit and integration testing; support user acceptance testing (UAT)</p></li><li><p>Develop technical documentation including system architecture diagrams, data flows, configuration specifications, and deployment procedures</p></li><li><p>Support commissioning, deployment, and go-live activities, troubleshooting issues and ensuring successful production cutover</p></li></ul><p><strong>Project &amp; Team Collaboration</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage <strong>technical projects under $100K</strong> with guidance, including scope, schedule, and resource coordination</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with <strong>Grantek India offshore teams</strong> and extended workforce partners</p></li><li><p>Mentor junior technical consultants and participate in code reviews</p></li><li><p>Contribute to technical accelerators, templates, and reusable components</p></li></ul><p><strong>Pre-Sales &amp; Growth Support</strong></p><ul><li><p>Support pre-sales technical activities including demonstrations, feasibility assessments, and architecture reviews</p></li><li><p>Participate in proposal development including technical estimation and solution definition</p></li><li><p>Work with clients to identify follow-on opportunities within existing engagements</p></li></ul><p><strong>Technologies Used</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>MES/MOM:</strong> Ignition (Inductive Automation), Sepasoft MES, Kanoa MES</p></li><li><p><strong>Industrial DataOps / UNS:</strong> MQTT (HiveMQ, Chariot, EMQX), HighByte, SepaIQ</p></li><li><p><strong>Integration:</strong> OPC-UA, MQTT, REST APIs, databases</p></li><li><p><strong>Development:</strong> Python, SQL, JavaScript, Ignition SDK</p></li><li><p><strong>Infrastructure:</strong> Windows, Linux, virtualization, AWS/Azure, containerization</p></li></ul> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>4–7 years</strong> of experience in industrial automation, MES/MOM, or manufacturing IT</p></li><li><p>Proven hands-on experience with <strong>Ignition and/or Sepasoft</strong></p></li><li><p>Experience implementing multiple MES functional modules</p></li><li><p>Integration experience with enterprise and shop-floor systems</p></li></ul><p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p><ul><li><p>Strong <strong>SQL and Python</strong> scripting capabilities</p></li><li><p>Understanding of <strong>ISA-95</strong> and manufacturing data standards</p></li><li><p>Data modeling and performance optimization experience</p></li><li><p>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</p></li></ul><p><strong>Professional Attributes</strong></p><ul><li><p>Self-directed with strong execution discipline</p></li><li><p>Clear communicator with technical and functional stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions</p></li><li><p>Strong time management and prioritization skills</p></li><li><p>Willingness to mentor junior team members</p></li></ul> <p>We are committed to the principals of equal employment opportunity and to fostering a workplace where all Grantekians feel respected and included.
