SENIOR FULL STACK ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with a primary focus on Java/Spring backend engineering and the ability to contribute to React + TypeScript UI delivery as needed. This is a hands-on leadership role , requiring strong technical depth, design capability, and proven experience leading teams in building resilient, production-ready solutions. You will work in an Agile environment to design, develop, and deploy high-quality services utilizing modern microservices patterns , API-first principles , and containerized cloud-native architectures . What you'll be doing • Provide technical leadership and day-to-day guidance to engineers, ensuring alignment to best practices and delivery consistency • Design, build, and support backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring stack (Boot/Data/REST/Security) • Take ownership of solution design , producing architecture documentation and diagrams (e.g., UML) • Deliver end-to-end features , including front-end contributions in React + TypeScript where needed • Implement microservices and micro-database patterns with strong API contracts • Build event-driven integrations aligned with enterprise architecture patterns • Integrate workflow engines using BPMN for process orchestration • Ensure production readiness through robust logging, error handling, resilience design, and observability integration • Develop and maintain batch processing capabilities where required • Drive automated testing at all layers (unit, integration), enforce code scanning standards, and remediate findings proactively • Containerize and deploy workloads via Docker and Kubernetes , ensuring secure and efficient CI/CD delivery to cloud environments • Actively participate in Agile practices : backlog grooming, sprint planning, and delivery using Jira, Confluence/Wiki Note: Detailed project information will be shared during the recruitment process. What you get in return • Flexible cooperation model • Hybrid work setup – remote days available depending on the client’s arrangements - 1 day a week from the office in Kraków • Collaborative team culture – work alongside experienced professionals eager to share knowledge • Continuous development – access to training platforms and growth opportunities • Comprehensive benefits – including Interpolska Health Care, Multisport card, Warta Insurance, and more • High quality equipment – laptop and essential software provided Who we're looking for • 8+ years of enterprise application development with strong Backend Engineering focus • 2+ years in formal technical leadership , including mentoring and technical delivery ownership • Strong experience with Java and Spring ecosystem (Boot, Data, REST, Security) • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and micro-database design patterns • Understanding of event-driven systems and integration patterns • Working knowledge of ReactJS and TypeScript (able to deliver UI features when needed) • Proficiency in API design and documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI • Practical automated testing skills: JUnit, Mockito, H2, HTTP testing tools • Hands-on experience with batch processing jobs (Spring Batch or similar) • Strong expertise in error handling, logging, and observability practices • Practical experience with containerization and orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes • Exposure to cloud-native services development and deployment • Familiarity with static code analysis and security scanning tools • Strong Agile delivery experience ( Scrum , Jira, Confluence) Desirable / Nice to Have • Domain experience in Risk and Compliance , particularly Model Risk Management • Familiarity with Spring Integration , Spring Batch extensions • Knowledge of WebSockets , SSE, or binary protocols • Experience with Workflow Engines (e.g., BPMN, Flowable, Activiti, Drools) • Exposure to Micro-frontends architecture and modularization best practices Joining this project you’ll become part of Mindbox – a tech-driven company where consulting, engineering, and talent meet to build meaningful digital solutions.
