CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Field has entered its next phase of growth. In June, the UK energy regulator, Ofgem, selected 16 long-duration energy storage projects to progress to delivery. Field were awarded 5 of these. Collectively, in MWh terms, our projects are approximately 3 times the capacity of all battery energy storage installed in the UK to date. We currently have 4 projects totalling over 1GWh of energy storage in construction in GB with lots more delivery to do. Your Mission As Project Manager at Field you will be responsible for leading some of the world’s longest duration BESS projects through pre-construction, final-investment decision (FID), construction, commissioning and handover to Operations. The role requires active management of your projects, you therefore need to be highly engaged, resilient, execution-focused and detail-oriented. You’ll need to be passionate about project management fundamentals (e.g. programme, budget, quality) and have proven stakeholder management skills. You will report into our Head of Delivery (Michael) and work closely with in-house experts across Engineering, QHSE, Procurement, Legal and Development.
