Job description

Overview: We are looking for a L1 Support Engineer to strengthen our IT Support team in Warsaw. This role focuses on workplace stability, endpoint management, access administration, and operational improvements. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of standard workplace processes while escalating non-standard or infrastructure-level issues. Key responsibilities: • Receive and transfer corporate equipment and peripherals for repair in accordance with established procurement procedures • Maintain and update the corporate equipment fleet, including assisting in procurement processes • Provide support in installation and initial configuration of corporate equipment for new employees (Windows and macOS) • Keep accurate records of issued equipment in 1C • Prepare and configure equipment for corporate use • Create user accounts in corporate systems (AD, Google Workspace, Jira, Slack) using automated tools/templates • Manage and support office access control systems (issuing, replacing, updating, and deactivating cards) • Troubleshoot application and system software issues on user devices • Conduct primary diagnostics of hardware and software problems • Install licensed and free software on corporate equipment • Provide support with printers and printing services • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation in line with IT processes and services. • Escalate hardware/software issues to service providers when required • Coordinate with contractors (service centers, cartridge refilling services, etc.) • Assist in sourcing equipment that complies with corporate standards in local and global markets • Participate in the testing of new IT services (functional validation, data input) • Restore operating systems on employee devices after crashes or failures • Configure access to banks, electronic document signing systems, and state or specialized portals • Advise on the selection and assembly of custom PC configurations based on business needs. Required Skills & Experience: • Strong knowledge of MS Windows operating systems • Understanding of the basic principles of antivirus protection • Understanding of the fundamental security concepts of MS Windows operating systems • Minimum 1 year of experience working with Windows systems in a corporate environment • English proficiency level B1 or higher. Nice to have: • Experience with MS Active Directory • Experience with Group Policy management • Knowledge of Apple (macOS) and/or Linux systems • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalents) • Experience working with Jira/Confluence • Knowledge of active network equipment (Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, or equivalents) • Scripting experience with PowerShell • Basic administration of Windows Server • Practical experience in structured cabling (SC) installation • Skills in IT asset accounting and inventory management.
