Job description
Accountabilities
• Drive new business growth by targeting new logos and developing strategic programs for major enterprise clients.
• Build and execute territory and account strategies designed to identify, engage, and acquire high-value prospects.
• Conduct proactive, high-volume outreach to key stakeholders and decision-makers across target organizations.
• Develop strategic relationships with senior executives across Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and C-suite functions.
• Lead complex, consultative sales cycles, using strong negotiation, presentation, relationship-building, and solution-selling skills to advance opportunities.
• Identify customer needs and develop tailored incentive, prepaid, services, and technology solutions that address strategic business objectives.
• Build strong partnerships with both clients and internal stakeholders to ensure solutions, commercial strategies, and implementation plans are aligned.
• Manage opportunities from initial prospecting through negotiation and close, with a focus on large and strategically important programs.
• Partner with clients to develop differentiated solutions for consumer promotions, loyalty and rebate programs, sales-channel incentives, employee rewards, and related applications.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and develop relationships that support long-term account growth.
• Accurately document sales activity, pipeline development, account information, and client interactions using Salesforce or another CRM platform.
• Monitor market developments and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to improve sales processes and deliver measurable business results.
• Travel extensively across a large multi-state territory to support client meetings, business development activities, and relationship-building efforts.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of sales experience selling to Fortune 500 companies, with a strong track record in enterprise business development.
• 12+ years of proven business development experience, preferably within consumer promotions, rebates, marketing services, or related solution-based environments.
• Experience working for a Fortune 1000-focused organization, marketing services company, or agency serving large enterprise clients.
• Demonstrated success selling complex solutions that combine products, services, and technology.
• Proven ability to sell consultatively to senior Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and C-level executives.
• Experience in one or more of the following industries is a plus: pharmaceuticals and healthcare, automotive, consumer electronics, retail, or telecommunications.
• Documented track record of sales success, ideally as a top-quartile performer.
• Exceptional oral, written, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building abilities and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders in complex sales environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce or another CRM platform.
• Strong strategic thinking, account planning, organization, and pipeline management skills.
• Curiosity and adaptability toward emerging technologies, with demonstrated experience implementing or using AI tools to improve processes, enhance productivity, or generate measurable results.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40–50% , including overnight travel of around 30% .

• On-target earnings of approximately $246,500 per year for eligible U.S. residents, excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
