PRODUCT ENGINEER (MID), JAVA / KOTLIN

<p>We are hiring a mid product engineer for the CET night shift.</p><p>You can live anywhere. Your working hours have to cover 22:00-06:00 Central European Time. If nights are not for you, this role is not.</p><p>What you will do:</p><ul><li>Ship features on Gluesync with the product team</li><li>Own small-to-medium work end to end: design, code, tests, review</li><li>Work with SQL and NoSQL sources (Oracle, SQL Server, IBM i / DB2, MongoDB, Kafka, and similar)</li><li>Keep quality high: automated tests, no silent regressions</li><li>Take part in customer technical support on the CET night shift: troubleshoot production issues, help customers through Gluesync problems, and feed what you learn back into the product. This is part of the job, not a rare exception.</li></ul> <p>Must have:</p><ul><li>At least 4 years building backend services in Java</li><li>At least 1-2 years of Kotlin in production (the product is Kotlin; Java gets you in the door, Kotlin is how you ship)</li><li>REST APIs, SQL, and at least one NoSQL store</li><li>You write tests and use Git like a teammate</li><li>You can reliably work CET nights (22:00-06:00) from wherever you are</li></ul><p>Nice to have:</p><ul><li>Ktor, Koin, Gradle</li><li>Docker / Kubernetes</li><li>Kafka or other event streaming</li><li>Prior CDC or database replication</li></ul> <p>What you get:</p><ul><li>Remote from any country</li><li>MacBook Pro</li><li>Performance bonus</li><li>Partner training (AWS, MongoDB, and similar)</li><li>Compensation from 40k€</li></ul><p>Missing a piece of the stack is fine if you learn fast.
