Job description

<ul><li>You will be responsible to bring onboard as many influential, powerful, and globally-recognised  investors as possible. You will research and discover globally high-profile investors, regionally influential investors and more. </li><li>Your future KPIs will be aligned to bringing onboard the best and the brightest investors from around the world and the assets under management they represent; that will help ensure CPHI & BioMed has the most impressive investor program cohort in the region. </li><li>You will keep in contact with these investors throughout the year, cultivating a relationship, answering all queries, and meeting with them both virtually and in-person to convince them to become a part of the Investor Program. All prospective and confirmed investors will be kept on a database that will be updated daily, for tracking and data purposes. </li><li>Closer to the event, this would involve working with the logistical operations team to ensure: Tier 1 investors (from the top global firms) are well looked after (e.g., flights, accommodation, transport); and that all investors confirmed to attend are kept well informed about key event details, such as badge collection, app downloads, venue location, and more.  </li><li>Furthermore, you will co-ordinate with marketing to ensure that confirmed investor’s bio and picture are featured on our website, well publicised, and track any changes prior to the event. </li><li>You will also liaise with the conference production team if there are investors and/or investor-related topics that are new, innovative, and cutting-edge, assisting with the speaker onboarding process and handover to the relevant producer, helping shape investor forums, talks, panels and investor programme content as a whole. </li></ul>Who you are: <ul><li>You are excited about bringing some of the biggest names in investment to Saudi, to connect with startups, other investors, and the tech community at large  </li><li>You are a team player, and you will look to help other members of the team where possible, with an ability to wear many hats</li><li>You have a passion for  investor-themed topics, and research, and you are willing to learn and develop in these areas </li><li>You are enthusiastic, driven and always striving to deliver to the highest possible standard  </li><li>Pharma & Bio are changing the way that we live; you care about this and you want to learn more and make an impact in this space</li><li>You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and you love being part of a happy, motivated and enthusiastic team </li><li>You have impeccable copy writing and people management skills </li></ul> Qualities needed for culture fit <ul><li>We are ambitious, motivated and forward thinking. We work collaboratively as a team to achieve great things. </li><li>If you are the type of person who likes work in a fast-paced environment where there is opportunity to grow and you can have a laugh along the way, then this would be a great opportunity for you. </li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>You will contribute with new ideas and topics for the conferences, features, webinars, and content based on those investors you have onboarded. </li><li>You will work closely with marketing team to ensure that they accurately represent your investors.  </li></ul>Essential <ul><li>Experience in conference production and/or event management is preferred, but we offer intensive training and coaching for outstanding candidates who wish to move into this career </li><li>A keen interest in the global investment ecosystem, especially in the latest developments </li><li>Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Basic AI text/image generating tools and Excel  </li><li>Commercial awareness  </li><li>Research based role with a demand for detail orientated individuals  </li><li>Copywriting/marketing skills  </li><li>Arabic language skills</li><li>Brand and market awareness </li><li>Exemplary people management skills </li><li>You will be innovative in identifying cutting-edge investors and ensuring they align to the core values of the investor programme</li><li>You will be diligent in ensuring onboarded investors are high quality and the firms they represent are high value. </li><li>You will do extensive research across multiple platforms to ensure all investor information is up to date. </li><li>You will have excellent people management skills to ensure investors are well looked after both in the pre-event run-up, and on site. </li></ul> Please note this is a 6 month contract role. It can be performed remotely.
