PROJECT ENGINEER

Field has entered its next phase of growth. In June, the UK energy regulator, Ofgem, selected 16 long-duration energy storage projects to progress to delivery. Field were awarded 5 of these. Collectively, in MWh terms, our projects are approximately 3 times the capacity of all battery energy storage installed in the UK to date. We currently have 4 projects totalling over 1GWh of energy storage in construction in GB with lots more delivery to do. Your Mission As Project Engineer you will oversee electrical delivery on some of the world’s longest duration BESS projects, from pre-construction through to energisation and handover to Asset Operations. The role demands hands-on, pro-active management of your projects and the contractors and designers Field appoints to deliver them (BESS suppliers, BoP contractors, consultants). You'll need to be highly engaged, resilient, execution-focused and detail-oriented. You should be passionate about delivering high-quality engineering projects, well-versed electrical design standards, and comfortable working as part of a multi-disciplinary project team. You will report to the Head of Delivery (Michael) and work closely with in-house experts across Grid, BESS, Design, Procurement and Asset Operations.
