<p><strong><u>About the role</u></strong></p><p>The Project Manager provides consulting services to our retail client telecom client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Projects consist of retail store fit-outs and renovations from preconstruction planning and permitting to closeout.</p><p>This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion <strong>This is a remote opportunity with 20%-30% travel primarily in the Eastern and Central Time Zones.</strong></p><p><strong><u>What you’ll do</u></strong></p><p>Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.</p><p>Interface directly with Architects and General Contractors, define scope, and manage RFP’s and RFIs.</p><p>Interface directly with clients to prepare all project elements, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.</p><p>Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.</p><p>Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.</p><p>Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.</p><p>Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.</p><p>Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.</p><p>Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.</p><p>Mentor others and share knowledge of your job subject area and have broad understanding of several job fields within the function.</p><p>Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.</p><p>Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.</p>
<p><strong><u>What you’ll need</u></strong></p><p>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future</p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.</li><li>Experience with retail client accounts managing fit-out and renovation construction is preferred.</li><li>Ability to read architectural drawings and technical construction documents</li><li>Knowledge of lease agreements and vendor management is highly desirable.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Smartsheet. Experience with Tango or similar project management software required. Corrigo or other facilities management software is desirable.</li><li>Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.</li></ul>
