In this role, this role will be a key architect of GFiber’s future, balancing immediate transaction execution with the long-term vision of our network expansion. This role will be responsible for evaluating M&amp;A opportunities, supporting capital markets activities, and driving the firm’s long-range financial planning.</p> <p>As a key member of the team, this role will support capital markets activity and M&amp;A analysis and execution. This role will conduct rigorous financial modeling, perform deep-dive industry research into the telecommunications sector, and help manage GFiber’s relationships with external financing partners.</p> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p> </p> <p><strong>In this role, you'll:</strong></p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td> <ul> <li><strong>Long-Term Strategic Planning</strong>: Own the development and annual refresh of GFiber’s 10-year integrated financial model. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to translate long-term strategic goals into detailed multi-year projections.</li> <li><strong>M&amp;A &amp; Valuation:</strong> Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.</li> <li><strong>Capital Markets &amp; Financing:</strong> Assist in evaluating funding strategies and executing financing activities—including debt issuances and credit facility management—to fund long-term infrastructure builds.</li> <li><strong>Transaction Execution:</strong> Support the end-to-end M&amp;A lifecycle, from initial screening and due diligence to deal structuring and post-close integration.</li> </ul> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p> </p> <p><strong>At a minimum, we would like you to have:</strong></p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>2 years of experience as an investment banking analyst.</li> <li>2 years of experience working with Excel with a proven track record of building complex, multi-year integrated financial models. </li> <li>2 years of direct exposure to debt capital market transactions and an understanding of capital structure optimization as well as cash flow waterfall mechanics</li> <li>2 years of experience managing and interpreting large data sets to identify long-term trends and drivers.</li> </ul> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p> </p> <p><strong>It's preferred that you have:</strong></p> <table> <tbody> <tr> <td> <ul> <li>TMT (Technology, Media, Telecom), Infrastructure and Leveraged Finance experience.</li> <li>Experience in a corporate function at a company supporting capital markets, M&amp;A or strategic planning activities.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams—such as a live deal and a refinancing—simultaneously.</li> <li>Ability to evaluate how specific transactions or financing decisions impact the company's overall balance sheet and long-term growth trajectory.</li> <li>Exceptional ability to distill complex capital markets data into actionable insights for non-finance executives.</li> <li>Understanding of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) economics, including CAPEX-intensive deployment models and long-term infrastructure returns.</li> </ul> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p> </p> <p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $105,600 - $154,900 + bonus + benefits.
