About The Role: As a Corporate Development Associate you will play a crucial role in our M&A sourcing engine— identifying founders of promising bootstrapped businesses. Your work will be the front line of our growth, driving outreach, relationship-building, and deal pipeline development. This role is perfect for you if you are a natural communicator and thrive on conversations with founders and proactively seek out quality acquisition opportunities. Key Responsibilities: M&A Sourcing & Outreach • Identify, research, and map markets to find attractive acquisition targets • Support in building and maintaining relationships with founders, owners, and intermediaries through project management • Conduct high-volume outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage business owners Initial Deal Evaluation • Gather key financial and operational data to inform valuation discussions • Collaborate with the team to qualify leads and prioritize high-potential deals Market & Competitive Analysis • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to refine our acquisition thesis • Analyze key financial indicators to determine a company’s fit • Work with the leadership team to refine targeting criteria and adjust strategies Key Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics) • 3-5 + years of proven experience in corporate development, investment banking, product or a related field, with a strong focus on M&A. • Proficiency in Excel and CRM tools, with strong analytical skills for data management and financial evaluation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong aptitude for relationship-building Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities • Enthusiasm for conducting market research and competitive analysis Compensation and Benefits: • Base Salary: Market Competitive (commensurate with experience) • Allowances: Premium Internet, Electricity, and Wellbeing allowances to support night-shift operations. • Medical Insurance: Comprehensive health coverage. • Performance Bonuses: Structured bonuses based on individual targets and account retention metrics. • Annual Growth: Regular performance-based increments and clear vertical career progression.
