JUNIOR POKER OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Accountabilities • Support the setup and deployment of tournaments, satellites, cash games, and poker series. • Configure and maintain back-office and in-client settings accurately and within required deadlines. • Support promotional initiatives, including missions, leaderboards, tickets, rewards, and CRM campaigns. • Assist with tournament configuration, including structures, payouts, guarantees, templates, and satellites. • Perform QA, release validation, and post-deployment checks to ensure changes work as expected. • Investigate operational issues, respond to requests, and escalate problems when appropriate. • Develop working knowledge of Poker Room Management tools and processes while providing operational coverage across different areas. • Support the introduction of new poker features, formats, and promotional mechanics. • Maintain clear and up-to-date operational documentation as processes evolve. • Use AI and other technology tools to improve the speed, accuracy, and quality of day-to-day operational work. • Adapt to changing priorities and provide support across the team wherever operational needs arise. Requirements • Strong understanding of online poker, including cash games, tournaments, and core poker mechanics. • Genuine interest in poker and curiosity about how online poker rooms operate. • Excellent attention to detail with a consistently high standard of accuracy. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines. • Clear and effective written communication skills. • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, software applications, and unfamiliar internal systems. • Ability to use AI and technology effectively for learning, problem-solving, and improving workflows. • Fast learner who responds positively to feedback and can quickly apply new knowledge. • Reliable, adaptable, and willing to take on increasing responsibility as expertise develops. • Previous experience in online poker, gaming, technology, or another fast-paced operational environment is advantageous. • Experience with operational or back-office platforms is a plus. • Familiarity with concepts such as rake, liquidity, satellites, tournament structures, and player segmentation is beneficial. • Experience supporting CRM campaigns, promotions, leaderboards, reward systems, QA, or digital product testing is desirable. • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills are an advantage. • Experience incorporating AI tools into regular workflows is a plus. • Knowledge of cryptocurrency or crypto-based gaming platforms is beneficial.
