<ul><li>Associate's Degree in Medical Record Sciences with certification as Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Administrator (RHIA) or CCS.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of inpatient coding experience</li><li>Strong understanding of:</li></ul><ul><li>Anatomy and physiology</li><li>Pathophysiology and disease processes</li><li>Medical terminology</li><li>Pharmacology</li><li>ICD-10 coding systems</li></ul><ul><li>Level I Trauma Center coding experience preferred</li></ul>
