<p>AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Water Process Engineer in Dallas, TX.</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan water quality evaluations to meet project objectives which include investigating source water quality, treatment process efficiency, and distribution system water quality</li><li>Plan and conduct bench and pilot tests to evaluate water treatment</li><li>Design experiments and systems to investigate the effect of treatment on water quality and optimize the design criteria for full scale design</li><li>Perform engineering design calculations and desktop evaluations for different water treatment processes and scenarios</li><li>Complete chemical dosing and storage calculations, sizing of pumps, and selection of necessary process monitoring equipment</li><li>Conduct engineering reviews of applications for flood mitigation projects</li><li>Review and verify flood damage reports and calculations, engineering designs, and perform benefit-cost analyses</li><li>Carry out permitting and compliance assistance for projects through plant rerating, treatment modification, plant upgrades, and demonstration of performance</li><li>Prepare documents, draft responses to regulatory agencies, and work with utilities to identify deficiencies and meet compliance requirements</li><li>Complete the technical writing and preparation of presentation materials to share project findings with employee technical groups, clients, and water industry conferences</li><li>Up to 25% domestic travel</li><li>Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the US</li></ul> <p>Candidates must have a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field of study and&#xa0;3 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Civil Engineer, or in a related occupation.</p><p>Position requires experience in the following:</p><ol><li>Professional Engineering (PE) Licensure</li><li>Experience in completing water, wastewater, and stormwater utility projects</li><li>Water process planning, modeling, condition assessment, and design</li><li>Regulatory experimental design</li><li>AutoCAD</li><li>GIS</li><li>Hydrologic and Hydraulic models</li><li>System and Experimental Design for Pilot Testing</li><li>RTW4 Modeling</li><li>BIOWIN</li><li>Dupont WAVE</li><li>FDEP Oculus</li><li>Power BI</li></ol> <p>All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.</p><div sr-tagline=""></div><p>At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously. <strong><em>To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.</em></strong></p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>About AECOM</strong>&#xa0;</p><p>AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
