However, employees who reside within a 40-mile radius of one of our office locations in Tampa, FL; Canonsburg, PA; or Bowie, MD will follow a hybrid work schedule and are expected to work in the office two days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Overview: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of specific projects and initiatives ensuring consistency with the company’s overall strategy and goals. This position will be responsible for creating project plans, tracking progress, communicating with stakeholders, and removing any barriers that might prevent the success of the project being delivered on-time and on-budget. The Senior Project Manager analyzes existing business processes to gain a complete understanding of current procedures to provide recommendations for improvements, and often works with cross-functional and technical teams and is a major contributor to identifying, defining, and implementing system solutions. This role understands the business and ensures there is alignment between the business functions and technology to support the business goals. Duties and Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Collaborate with executive leadership to align project priorities with organizational goals and strategies.</li> <li>Lead concurrent cross-functional project teams in defining the project scope and objectives, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are involved according to the RACI.</li> <li>Create a project charter and detailed project plan that identifies all the tasks and milestones involved in successfully completing the project.</li> <li>Develop project communication plans and coordinate across departments and business units partnering with clients as needed, while maintaining positive and productive working relationships.</li> <li>Track and report on project progress and deliverables providing updates to key stakeholders, including executive leadership, and holding teams/individuals accountable to their commitments ensuring the project is delivered on-time and on-budget.</li> <li>Perform risk management, resolve issues, manage deviations, remove roadblocks, and solve problems throughout the project cycle.</li> <li>Lead, coach, and motivate members of the project team with a positive attitude.</li> <li>May mentor and develop more junior project management staff.</li> <li>Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work.</li> <li>Develop tools and apply best practices as needed throughout the project life cycle including post- project evaluations and results assessments (lessons learned), incorporating feedback into future projects.</li> <li>Manage the impact of projects on operational processes and partner with business users to identify areas of process improvements, recommending solutions through automation by applying lean concepts.</li> <li>May lead or contribute to the development of detailed business requirements by partnering with the business and stakeholders to understand their needs.</li> <li>May oversee and help in the translation of business requirements into functional specifications in collaboration with technical teams, subject matter experts, and project team members.</li> <li>Analyzes business processes, organizational structure, goals, and procedures to identify and develop strategies to improve efficiency and cross-functional collaboration within the business.</li> <li>May also lead the implementation of the identified solutions including system testing, facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), end-user training, documentation, and other support as needed.</li> <li>Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement.</li> <li>Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position.</li> <li>Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.</li> </ul> Job Requirements: <ul> <li>Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering concurrent, cross-departmental, complex projects and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on driving results.</li> <li>Self-motivated and organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time, and communicate progress in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Comfortable interacting with a variety of skill levels and leadership levels with a demonstrated ability to lead through influence.</li> <li>Proven ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including MS Project, MS SharePoint, Excel, Word, MS Planner, Viva Goals, and Visio.</li> <li>Quick learner, with good technical and business acumen.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Experience in a medium to large-size company and healthcare/biomedical related business experience preferred.</li> </ul> Education: <ul> <li>BA/BS Degree or equivalent is required.</li> <li>PMP (PMI), CBAP (IIBA) or equivalent certification a plus.</li> <li>Agile Scrum or Scaled Agile certification or experience a plus.</li> </ul> Physical Demands and Work Environment: <ul> <li>Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time).</li> <li>Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions.</li> <li>Subject to inside environmental conditions.</li> <li>Travel for this position will include up to 10%.</li> </ul> <div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">Inovalon Offers a Competitive Salary and Benefits Package In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
