Job description

Accountabilities: • Support the end-to-end third-party and vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, periodic reviews, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding. • Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, business teams, and other stakeholders to ensure vendor activities comply with established third-party governance requirements. • Maintain and update the vendor inventory within the organization’s risk management system. • Review vendor records to ensure information is complete, accurate, current, and aligned with established data standards. • Perform routine data-quality checks, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues. • Assist with categorizing vendors according to inherent risk levels and business criticality. • Execute standardized third-party risk assessments under the guidance of senior risk professionals. • Collect, organize, and validate risk information provided by vendors and internal stakeholders. • Document assessment findings, risk ratings, supporting rationale, and relevant follow-up actions. • Monitor assessment completion and proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure submissions are completed within required timelines. • Record and monitor third-party risk incidents, issues, and exceptions within the risk management system. • Track remediation activities, maintain accurate status information, and follow up with responsible parties to support timely resolution. • Support the preparation of risk reports, dashboards, summaries, and other materials for internal stakeholders. • Gather and validate information used to calculate Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and other third-party risk metrics. • Contribute to recurring reporting cycles by reviewing data quality and preparing clear summaries of relevant risk activity. • Support improvements to third-party risk management processes, workflows, tools, templates, and procedures. • Participate in testing and workflow enhancements within enterprise risk management and third-party risk management systems. • Help maintain accurate documentation covering procedures, assessment methodologies, templates, guidelines, and operational processes. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience. • 2+ years of experience in risk management, vendor management, compliance, or a related discipline. • Basic understanding of third-party risk management concepts, vendor governance, and risk assessment practices. • Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on data accuracy, completeness, and quality. • Ability to organize, prioritize, and track multiple tasks, stakeholders, and deadlines effectively. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with basic data reporting and analysis tools. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while following established processes and guidance from senior team members. • Strong organizational and follow-through skills, particularly when managing assessment requests, remediation actions, and recurring deadlines. • Eagerness to develop knowledge of risk frameworks, assessment methodologies, vendor governance practices, and enterprise risk processes. • Ability to work independently on routine operational activities while recognizing when issues require escalation. • Comfortable working extensively with computers, multiple software applications, phone systems, and digital risk management platforms. • Able to work remotely from within the United States and remain available five days per week during designated working hours.
