INDUSTRY: Tourism CONTRACT DETAILS: Permanent POSITION LOCATION: Ongava Game Reserve, Namibia POSITON NAME: Wildlife Reserve Manager To oversee and manage the day-to-day operational, security, conservation, and infrastructure functions of the Reserve, ensuring the effective protection of wildlife and assets, efficient maintenance of facilities, responsible financial management, and the successful implementation of operational and capital projects. The Wildlife Reserve Manager is responsible for translating organizational objectives into practical, on-the-ground execution, ensuring that all departments operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with conservation and company standards. Location: Ongava Game Reserve Reports To: General Manager: Conservation & Operations Employment Type: Full-time Requirements: • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or Diploma in relevant conservation field is a requirement • Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role within conservation or reserve management • Demonstrated experience managing wildlife areas and all the associated responsibilities thereof • Must be proficient in the handling of firearms • Proven experience with budgets and resource allocation • Have relevant technical and maintenance related skills such as welding, plumbing, fencing, etc. • Have excellent communication and computer literacy skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software • Knowledge of habitat restoration and impact assessment would be advantageous • Must be physically fit and able to work in rugged and potentially hazardous environments • Must be fluent in English (multilingualism will be a distinct advantage) • Be willing to work long, flexible hours in remote and high-pressure environments with minimal supervision • Have a valid driver's license and PDP • Must have police clearance certificates and will be required to undergo full background check prior to employment Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted Closing date: 18th September 2026
