<p><strong>AECOM</strong> is seeking multiple <strong>Archaeology Technician’s </strong>for immediate employment within our Cultural Resources team in the Midwest. This is a remote, part-time, on-call position, meaning workdays and times will be determined on an as-needed basis.&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p>The Archaeological Technician primarily performs fieldwork under the supervision of a Crew Chief, Field Director and/or Principal Investigator. <strong>Immediate </strong>f<strong>ield projects needs will primarily be in Ohio and Illinois.</strong> Candidates will need flexibility to travel overnight for field work sessions.  The duration of these projects will run through September-December and may extend longer, which will be weather dependent.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff.&#xa0;</li><li>May gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisor, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites.&#xa0;</li><li>Other activities may include assisting with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation.&#xa0;</li><li>Collects and enters data and applies technical principles and theories under supervision.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>About AECOM’s Environment Business Line</strong><br> Join AECOM to be part of an expert global team who is connected through a well-developed, worldwide, internal technical practice network through which you can learn from and brainstorm with the best in the world.
