QUALITY AND ASSURANCE OFFICER

<p><strong>Quality and Assurance Officer</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong>&#xa0;Based in Greater Manchester with occasional travel to our offices in London and Birmingham</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> £35,000</p><p><strong>Join our Quality and Assurance team and play a key role in ensuring our services are delivered to the highest standards.</strong></p><p>Working across Ingeus UK and our Delivery Partner Network, you'll help maintain a robust compliance and quality framework, ensuring we meet contractual, regulatory and legislative requirements. You'll be responsible for conducting audits, conducting investigations, facilitating external audits, and providing expert guidance to drive continuous improvement and deliver high-quality, compliant services, as well as providing assurance that programmes are being delivered in line with contracts.</p><p><strong>As the Quality and Assurance Officer, you will:</strong></p><ul><li>Facilitate external audits, conduct investigations, support with accreditations, compliance queries, and maintain accurate audit documentation</li><li>Maintain a thorough understanding of all contractual guidance and relevant legislation, acting as an objective source of independent advice</li><li>Conduct audits on internal operations and delivery partners, providing assurance that controls are operating effectively, and contractual and regulatory requirements are being met</li><li>Conduct audits on internal operations and delivery partners, providing assurance that controls are operating effectively, and contractual, quality and regulatory requirements are being met</li><li>Review commissioner memo’s and changes to guidance and ensure that audit tools are updated</li><li>Conduct validation checks on financial claims prior to submission to commissioners</li><li>Conduct on-site audits on data protection and contract requirements</li><li>Evaluate the design, operational effectiveness and efficiency of processes, internal control systems and risk management activities across contracts</li><li>Act as the point of contact for internal and partner queries relating to compliance and assurance matters</li></ul> <p><strong>As the Compliance Audit Officer, you will have:</strong></p><ul><li>Recent experience of working within a busy Compliance, Audit and Quality environment.</li><li>Experience of working within Welfare to Work, Skills, Health, Youth and/or Justice industries is desirable</li><li>Broad experience of audit, including risk-based methodologies, risk management, controls, compliance, and industry best practice</li><li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience and professional qualifications desirable e.g. CIA</li><li>Proven experience in all aspects of planning and implementing audits</li><li>Ability to interpret audit findings and communicate them in an effective manner to facilitate improvement where required</li><li>Ability to influence stakeholders to agree and drive actions to completion</li></ul> <p>At Ingeus, our culture is built on treating everyone with dignity, ensuring every individual feels valued, respected and recognised for their contribution.</p><p>As a Disability Confident Employer, we understand that everyone’s journey is different, and we’re committed to making our recruitment process as inclusive and accessible as possible.
