Job description
<ul><li>Active involvement in day-to-day operational accounting activities </li><li>Assists in the preparation of financial reports and analysis for internal and external use </li><li>Prepares monthly and quarterly reconciliations </li><li>Interprets financial transactions, resolves accounting discrepancies and identifies significant fluctuations </li><li>Develops and implements processes with focus on automation, scalability, and efficiency to streamline accounting methods and increase productivity </li><li>Takes an active role in month / quarter / year-end closing processes </li><li> Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals </li><li>Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls </li><li>Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and forecast </li><li>Performs special projects and studies on accounting and control matters as requested</li></ul>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting/Finance required </li><li>0-2 years’ experience in financial reporting and/or general accounting </li><li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP </li><li>Requires excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams </li><li>Good oral and written communication skills required </li><li>Possesses Intermediate Excel skills </li><li>Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills </li><li>Ability to work in a remote environment. </li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate and solve problems. </li><li>Ability to analyze problems and multiple alternate solutions to be able to quickly make decisions. </li><li>Ability to develop practices, workflows, and policies. </li><li><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications: </strong></p></li><li>CPA, or working towards CPA license </li><li>QuickBooks experience </li></ul>
<p><strong>Compensation and Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>The anticipated salary range for this position is $55-$66K.
