Position: Bilingual Turkish STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety Type: Contract Compensation: $30–$34/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities • Write expert-level prompts in Turkish across specialized scientific topics. • Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy , helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content. • Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations. • Work independently and asynchronously to ensure model safety and compliance. • Collaborate with AI research teams to improve model understanding of Turkish technical topics. Qualifications Must-Have • PhD in chemistry , biology , or a closely related field. • Native or near-native fluency in Turkish and business-level written English . • Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques. • Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information. Preferred • Based in Türkiye or the wider MENA region. • Expertise in radiochemistry , nuclear chemistry , or radiation physics . • Depth in a specific subfield such as organic synthesis , molecular biology , or virology . • Experience with chemical safety , biosafety , or hazardous-materials handling . • Experience reviewing or grading technical content.
