Job description
Accountabilities:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions across browser-based workflows, API integrations, AI-augmented pipelines, and other automation use cases that measurably reduce manual effort across IT and business operations.
• Maintain and support existing RPA solutions by diagnosing failures, adapting automations to changes in dependent systems, and ensuring deployed workflows remain reliable for the teams that depend on them.
• Translate business processes and requirements into maintainable automation solutions with clear architecture, error handling, logging, recovery mechanisms, documentation, version control, and change management practices.
• Prototype and productionize agentic workflows using modern frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar technologies, incorporating LLM capabilities where they provide greater flexibility, intelligence, or accuracy than traditional rule-based automation.
• Integrate automation workflows with enterprise AI platforms and LLM services through APIs to enable context-aware process execution and intelligent handling of complex or unstructured tasks.
• Evaluate existing automation approaches and contribute to decisions about where traditional RPA should be enhanced or replaced with AI-native and agentic technologies, using measurable performance comparisons to guide recommendations.
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to discover, assess, and prioritize automation opportunities based on process analysis, effort, potential impact, and expected business value.
• Instrument deployed automations with telemetry and performance metrics covering execution volumes, errors, reliability, and time saved, using these insights to continuously improve the automation portfolio.
• Contribute to shared standards for automation architecture, code quality, governance, deployment, and support, establishing reusable engineering patterns for the wider automation team.
Requirements
• Bring at least 3 years of professional experience building automation solutions, including scripted workflows, RPA implementations, API integrations, or comparable automation solutions deployed into production environments.
• Have hands-on experience with at least one RPA platform such as Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, or an equivalent technology, including the ability to maintain live automations and troubleshoot production failures.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for automation engineering, with experience producing readable, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Have practical experience working with REST APIs, including authentication, rate limiting, error handling, and the orchestration of multi-step API workflows.
• Be comfortable analyzing and decomposing business processes to determine automation opportunities and translate requirements into an appropriate technical solution before development begins.
• Experience with Playwright or similar browser automation technologies is preferred, along with the ability and willingness to quickly learn new automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience experimenting with or developing agentic automation using frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar technologies is highly valued.
• Familiarity with integrating LLM APIs from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or comparable platforms into automation workflows is beneficial, particularly for unstructured data processing and intelligent decision-making.
• Exposure to CI/CD practices for automation deployment, including version control, automated testing, deployment pipelines, and structured change management, is preferred.
• Bring strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the curiosity to explore emerging AI technologies and the judgment to determine where they can create meaningful operational value.
Benefits
• Work on AI-powered automation initiatives that directly reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency across technology and business teams.
• Gain hands-on exposure to modern agentic AI, LLM integrations, browser automation, API orchestration, and the evolution from traditional RPA toward AI-native automation.
• Join a flexible-first working environment designed to support effective collaboration and productivity across a global workforce.
• Access mentorship, learning programs, leadership development, and education support to build future-ready skills in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.
• Benefit from paid volunteer time, dedicated well-being resources, and regionally tailored programs supporting employees and their families.
• Contribute to automation solutions operating at significant enterprise scale, with opportunities to create measurable business impact through data-driven engineering.
